In a week, tens of thousands of Hoosiers will take to the streets in a clear demonstration that the masses here oppose the recent onslaught of right-wing attacks against LGBTQ people. This year, it’s especially imperative we highlight the radical roots of the contemporary LGBTQ liberation movement. We need to help remind or teach everyone about the militant, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, and anti-racist roots of Pride. We all need to remember that it is right to resist and that if we unite, we can win!
On Tuesday, June 6, you can be a part of ensuring the history, present, and future of Pride is one of genuine liberation, not capitalist cooptation. Join other progressive people in and around Indianapolis for a teach-in, fundraiser, and banner and placard-making workshop to ensure this message is heard loud and clear!
Just as importantly, continue building a revolutionary community in this city to continue fighting for emancipation and freedom for all!
Donations are on a sliding scale of $1-10 to help finance supplies (no one turned away for lack of funds).
