Riley Seungyoon Park was a featured speaker on a recent UNAC webinar discussing recent U.S. military escalations against the Korean peninsula–particularly the independent government in north Korea (the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea)–East Asia, and particularly the “New Cold War” against China. Park was joined by journalist, activist, writer, and teacher K.J. Noh and founder of the UNAC Administrative Committee, Sara Flounders.

Park is a member of Nodutdol for Korean Community Development, an organizer with the Indianapolis Liberation Center, a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, and co-editor of Socialist Education in Korea: Selected Writings of Kim Il-Sung. In addition to studying for their PhD in psychology at the University of Indianapolis, they are a dedicated Korean peace activist who, in November 2022, was part of the 1st U.S. Peace Delegation to Chongryon, or the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan. Earlier this year, they were featured on a podcast discussing recent repression in south Korea.

The recent escalation of U.S. aggression against Korea included the U.S. sending nuclear submarines to south Korea and, just days ago, the largest live-fire “war games” against Korea ever. These “war games” are really exercises for a full-scale invasion and regime change operation. are really “war exercises” that are preparations for a full-scale invasion and regime-change operation.

Listen as Park, Noh, and Flounders reveal the reality behind the constant racist and imperialist propaganda promoted by the U.S. government and media.

The following webinar, organized by the United National War Coalition, aired live on May 17.
