When we transform our hope into action, we can do anything. Join HP’s new Sustainer Program today!
We’re switching things up this month with a package assembly on the fourth Saturday of November. Enjoy complimentary refreshments during an engaging panel on land dispossession and its ties to “Thanksgiving,” co-sponsored by the Community Food Box Project. The panelists draw draw from global histories of colonization in Palestine and the U.S. while exploring the liberatory potential of our 10-Point Program and how we can contribute to the struggle in Indianapolis.
We rely on each other
To make this and future events possible, please donate to Hope Packages and, if possible, become a monthly Sustainer at whatever price you can consistently afford. Hope Packages is an independent entity operating under the umbrella of the Indianapolis Liberation Center. The more Sustainers we have, the more packages we have, and the more reliably we can organize and distribute them!
When you donate to Hope Packages, you’re not only helping our homeless community members survive but also working toward a larger overarching project of transforming our city into one where, instead of giving hundreds of millions of the people’s money to real estate developers and banks, we use that money to solve the structures and systems that cause homelessness.
You can also purchase these items directly from our Amazon wish list that will be delivered to the Indianapolis Liberation Center:
Please also join the Indianapolis Liberation Center for our first annual fundraiser on Thursday, November 14 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Broadway United Methodist Church. Tickets are available for purchase and will include a program hosted by Leon Benson, as well as dinner and a live and silent auction!
If you have questions or want to get more involved, reach out to us in person at the center or fill out the volunteer form below!
