This year marks the 15th year that our community has been driving without a license due to the 2007 law change. Every year politicians give us empty promises and do not put our community first. We are tired of false promises we need licenses now!
We must continue connecting with our respective senators and urging them not only to reach a final version of the bill, but to ensure that the Adoptee Citizenship Act is included in that final version.
The currently introduced Adoptee Citizenship Act of 2021 is a clear solution to a simple, but devastating, problem.
The ACLU of Indiana has called for a mass demonstration at the south atrium of the Indiana Statehouse at 8am, and the PSL will be there to support the people as they fight back against the enshrinement of transphobic policy in the education system. Demand that Indiana public schools reaffirm its role as a service for ALL people, regardless of gender identity!
