Phone/email zap: Demand necessary medical treatment for Royal Amos!

Monday, August 4
12:00 pm – demands are met
Anywhere and everywhere

Royal Amos (IDOC #953731), an innocent man incarcerated for 20 years at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF), is currently enduring deliberate medical neglect. Despite reporting severe symptoms—including chest pain, tightness, constipation, and bloody stool—has has not received medical care.

WVCF is actively denying Mr. Amos critical healthcare, part of a broader pattern of state-sanctioned violence against incarcerated people, which includes unsanitary conditions, and inedible, moldy food. As Mr. Amos told the Indianapolis Liberator, “I’m being attacked by the system.”

We can’t let this system that profits from suffering decide who lives or dies. Mr. Amos’ plea is clear: “This is my life and I don’t want to give my life away.”

That’s why we’re urging all supporters to take action now by participating in this phone/email zap, using the script below.
