Indianapolis Liberation Center
Join us for a study session on July 26 at the Indianapolis Liberation Center! We’ll examine capitalism’s many crises and, more importantly, explore what our world can, should, and will look like under socialist reconstruction. Through breakout simulations, you’ll confront a capitalist-made disaster alongside fellow workers. First, you’ll navigate the crisis under our current system, struggling to protect lives within its brutal limits. Then, after collective study, you’ll revisit the scenario in a worker-led world. The difference will be stark: just a glimpse of the people-first solutions socialism will unleash!
We’ll use Socialist Reconstruction: A Better Future for the United States as our guide. This visionary book outlines a real, achievable socialist alternative to our collapsing capitalist system. Copies are available here and at the event.
From the international stage to our city and state, capitalism’s crises are undeniable. Our tax dollars fund genocide in Gaza—essential programs like Medicaid, WIC, and SNAP face brutal cuts. Climate disasters, like the ongoing floods in Texas, wreak havoc on our communities. Meanwhile, the ruling class forces the consequences of their greed onto us: the multinational, international working class.
We can’t wait for the elites to grow a conscience or change course. Our liberation depends on us. We must envision and fight for a world where workers hold power, not politicians, and where the economy is planned not for billionaire profits, but for the people and the planet.
A better world is possible—let’s build it together!
