This is our liberated territory
The Indianapolis Liberation Center is a space for educational, cultural, political, spiritual, and other community activities. This is our liberated territory, and we are happy to provide space, labor, and other resources for movements, organizations, and formal or informal groups of any size that align with our mission and vision. We are here to help others move from idea to action.
A unique feature of our Center is that it is available for community use 24/7, excluding already scheduled events. The Center regularly hosts formal and informal, public and private events for outside groups, such as:
- book talks and book clubs, study groups, and classes
- private or public meetings or forums
- social gatherings and fundraisers
- yoga and physical activities
- spiritual, community, and other celebrations
- film screenings
- workshops and mutual aid events
- children’s clothing swaps, playtimes, and read-alouds
Our Center’s common area can comfortably fit 75-80 people and private offices can fit 5-10 people. We can offer the use—and, if needed, set up of—our equipment, including our microphone and PA system, film projector, television, chairs, and tables. We can produce signage for outside and inside the building, post it for you in advance, and even create social media graphics, flyers, and other promotional materials.
