6:00-7:30 pm
Michigan St. and Belmont Ave.
Banks, real estate developers, and corporations continue to shape our city to meet their needs. New overpriced homes continue to be built while increasing numbers of city residents lack access to adequate and affordable housing. The Near Westside is no exception, as our streets are increasingly peppered with gentrified houses while much of our existing housing stock is vacant.
Since 2019, the Indianapolis branch of the Party for Socialism and Liberation has been struggling to make housing a human right in the city, state, and country. Join us on April 28 to help build a movement to ensure that the Near Westside–and all of Indianapolis–is made to fit the needs of the people, not profit!
