“Darling, I Want My Rights” — Marsha P. Johnson

This month’s PSL Indianapolis Liberation Forum will delve into the revolutionary origins of Pride and how that radical spirit fuels today’s struggles—both locally and globally. We’ll examine:

  • The militant legacy of ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power)
  • Why defending socialist nations and their LGBTQ+ communities against imperialist attacks is crucial
  • The dangers of pinkwashing and what Joseph Massad calls the “Gay International” and how to fight them

We’ll also spotlight Indianapolis’ queer community, sharing experiences of police brutality and oppression, as well as lessons from the ruling class’s escalating legislative assaults on LGBTQ+ rights over the past decade.

Get firsthand updates on local organizing efforts and discover how you can join the fight for liberation. Ready to take action? Apply to join the PSL and learn more about our work in Indianapolis! To stay posted on upcoming events, sign up our newsletter below.
