Earlier this month, Joe Biden stated that an Israeli ground invasion of Rafah was his red line. Two weeks and multiple massacres into just such an invasion, and Biden’s red line is nowhere to be found. It is up to the people of this country to show Biden that we aren’t waiting for his red line. WE ARE THE RED LINE! If we can get enough community support to raise thousands of dollars in a short period of time, we can ensure that Indianapolis and all of our state is part of the real red line!
On June 8, the people of the U.S. will surround the White House to demand an end to U.S. government support for Israeli genocide. Israel could not and cannot carry out their barbaric war for a single day, let alone 8 months, without the financial, economic, and diplomatic backing of the U.S.
In November, Indianapolis traveled to D.C. for the historic National March for Palestine. In February, our city traveled to D.C. again to demand our government stop funding genocide in Gaza. This June, Indianapolis is returning to D.C. to prove that we are here to fight until Palestine is free!
ANSWER Indiana, Students for Justice in Palestine at Butler, Party for Socialism and Liberation and other community organizations are chartering a bus to get our people to and from D.C. for this historic action. However, to do so requires raising $7,800 in a short period of time. We know that people of conscience around Indiana are ready to make a sacrifice to contribute to the struggle for Palestinian freedom. If there was ever a time to mobilize resources it is now, as the Israeli genocide enters a new and distinctively brutal phase.
Every ticket purchase and donation counts as it ensures that the voice of Indianapolis is heard on the national and global levels. Please purchase your bus ticket at full price for $120 or purchase a subsidized ticket for $95. If you cannot go with us on June 8th but would like to support our trip, you can purchase a solidarity ticket to pay for someone who is burdened financially who could attend without the financial restraint and share on your social media platforms so that we can be sure to bring a full bus of freedom fighters to the rally in DC.
We will convene at the Indianapolis Liberation Center (1800 N Meridian St) on Friday, June 7 at 9PM to park cars in the parking lot or arrive via the Red Line and depart at 10PM. We will leave D.C. on Saturday, June 8 at 10PM and return to Indianapolis the morning of Sunday, June 9.
