We are showing up outside of the Hampton Inn to launch a noise protest so the ICE agents staying there feel unwelcome and too exhausted to do their “jobs.” Bring noise makers such as whistles, drums, instruments, and let’s get loud! ICE agents swarmed Indiana this week terrorizing our immigrant neighbors with unlawful arrests destroying property of local businesses and trying to spread fear throughout Indianapolis. One thing the ICE agents need to understand is that we are not afraid, that’s why Hoosiers standing up don’t feel compelled to cover our faces like they do. We will go where ICE is and intervene to keep our immigrant neighbors safe. Hoosier Hospitality only extends to those who come here to visit, live, and work in peace.
Weeks after devastating floods that hit Indiana, instead of receiving federal assistance to help with the cleanup effort, the billionaire-backed Trump administration made the decision to flood our state with ICE agents.
