Help assemble Hope Packages on the third Saturday of Black August! Meet and join fellow volunteers as we assemble hope package for community distribution and:
- Find out how Indy Hope Packages and its 10-Point Program build on the legacy of the Black Panther Party’s “survival pending revolution” strategy;
- Follow organizers as they help us honor political prisoners and prisoners of war; and
- Learn more about how the current mass incarceration system and the artificial production of homelessness intersect.
Then, get into our communities with us not as an act of charity or even mutual aid, but as a way to build unity and solidarity through action!
Indy Hope Packages relies entirely on donations and contributions from our people. Whether or not you can make it, please consider contributing to this vital project by:
- Purchasing essentials directly from our Amazon Wishlist to be shipped to the Indianapolis Liberation Center;
- Making a one-time donation; and
- Becoming one of our monthly Sustainers. The more Sustainers we have, the more reliably we can organize and distribute our packages!
