Come Play: A night of Black joy & community games

Saturday, February 21
5:00 – 8:00 pm
Indy Liberation Center
1619 Prospect St
Admission: Suggested donation startingn at $5

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the celebration of Black History Month. As the fight for Black and Afrikan liberation continues, it is also vital to set aside time to be in community with one another in a more relaxed environment. We strengthen community through games and interaction, and our goal is simply to bring people together—to get to know one another while having fun. In times of adversity, we remember that joy and community are revolutionary acts. Through connection, we build trust with one another. The Indy Liberation Center is committed to continuing to create opportunities for us to come together and connect.

Come through and show your skills with games significant to Black American and New Afrikan culture, including dominos, spades, and chess. We’ll also have newer favorites like Black Card Revoked and Uno. No prior knowledge of the games is required—everyone is welcome!

This event is family-friendly, so feel free to bring the little ones. Join us for a fun night filled with laughter, food, and prizes. The suggested donation starts at $5 (per person or family). We hope to see you there!
