ANSWER Indiana June meeting feat. Chicago organizer Nino Brown

Tuesday, June 4
6:00 pm
Indianapolis Liberation Center

Building a better world starts with deliberate planning and political action. Successful social movements are not the result of only spontaneous actions in the streets, but also require discipline, dedication, and democratic mechanisms—in short, organization.

The ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) is an organization that has worked tirelessly for over 20 years through all the ebbs and flows of the movement in the streets by educating, organizing, and building a long-term vision for justice and peace.

If you’re interested in working with ANSWER Indiana as a member, volunteer, or supporter, then this event is for you! No previous experience needed! Help us build a movement that not only opposes the U.S.’s criminal worldwide wars and occupations, but puts an end once and for all to imperialism and bigotry.

At this month’s meeting, we’ll be joined by Nino Brown, a teacher and an organizer with the Chicago branch of the ANSWER Coalition. Some items on the agenda for this meeting include:

  • A report back from ANSWER Indiana members who attended the People’s Conference for Palestine from May 24-26 in Detroit
  • A preview of an upcoming event related to U.S. imperialism and Congo
  • How to become a member of ANSWER Indiana
