Calling all drag queens, kings, queers, organizers, activists, and people against bigotry! We’re putting on a drag show to celebrate the liberatory roots of Pride at Hampton & Co. The evening will be revolutionary not simply in the themes we explore but in the feeling of power and freedom that comes from cultivating spaces fiercely and explicitly welcoming to all forms of life and free from the continued legacy of police terror.
Get your tickets now! All proceeds will benefit the Indianapolis Liberation Center, a community organizing hub that centers the LGBTQ community in its advocacy for working people.
This Pride Month marks a time of increasing anti-LGBTQ oppression, as legislators from both major political parties sign anti-queer bills into law and attempt to effectively un-document or de-state transgender people. While these losses are disheartening, they expose the truth behind the billionaire class’ desperate attempts to keep us divided: they are losing the fight, and they are terrified.
Now more than ever it is vital that we overcome identity-based divisions to unite in the celebration and, more importantly, the struggle for liberation of all LGBTQ people.
