Support Hope Packages so we can continue to grow!

Join us on the fourth Saturday of October for our monthly direct political aid package assembly and distribution! This month, we will be at Lugar Plaza to distribute food, toiletries, and clothing to anyone who needs them in the area. Volunteers are encouraged to come and help with the distribution of aid. At Lugar Plaza, people can come and assemble their own packages with items of what they need and engage in conversations with one another. We are looking forward to seeing our volunteers come out and engage in a direct action that benefits the community. We hope to see you at Lugar Plaza!

We appreciate your generous donations that sustain this important project. This month, we especially need socks, underwear, deodorant, and handwarmers, as well as other essentials that we always need to refill. You can also purchase items directly from our Amazon wishlist that will be sent to the Indianapolis Liberation Center.

As Hope Packages continues to grow towards struggling for the people, we need you–the people–to take apart, sign up to be a volunteer today! You can also donate to Hope Packages, and if possible, we encourage you to become a monthly Sustainer at whatever price you can consistently afford. The more Sustainers we have, the more reliably we can organize and distribute our packages!

Consider donating to our neighbors in Gaza at the Gaza Soup Kitchen, who are suffering from a lack of direct aid under an illegal siege implemented by Israel and the U.S. In early 2024, two brothers, Hani and Mahmoud Almadhoun, founded the Gaza Soup Kitchen. What began as a personal vow to ensure their neighbors in Beit Lahia, Gaza, wouldn’t go hungry quickly grew into a grassroots movement. Mahmoud, a central pillar of their mission, was tragically killed in a drone strike, but his legacy lives on through his family and friends who manage their kitchens today. His final word, “Mostamreen” (مستمرين), which means “we will continue,” is their guiding principle.
