Emergency rally: No more ICE in Indy!

Sunday, March 9
1:00 PM
W. 29th St. and I-65

Party for Socialism and Liberation–Indianapolis calls for an emergency rally this Sunday at 1pm, across from the Highland Vicinity Park at 2902 N Capitol Ave. Bring your voices, your fighting spirit, and a friend or two for support. There are more of us than there are of them, and together we cannot be defeated!

On February 28th, two Honduran men were repeatedly threatened before being brutally pulled from their work van and arrested by ICE agents at W. 29th St. and Interstate 65. The video, released yesterday by the IndyStar, shows ICE agents threatening them with tasers as the men repeatedly ask what they’d done to deserve such treatment.

As of the time of this publishing, neither man has been charged with a criminal offense. This has not stopped the state from tearing them from their families: one of the victims now sits in the Clay County ICE detention facility, while the other has been sent to a second facility in Illinois.

We will not stand for this abuse of our immigrant neighbors! This racist attack must not go unanswered!
