Script: “I am calling to ask why Leonard McQuay #874304, who is in custody at New Castle Correctional Facility, has not been taken to see an outside specialist about his kidney and prostate. He is scheduled to see an outside specialist every 6 months, and it has been 9 months since he has been seen. He is having dangerous symptoms and has requested medical attention repeatedly. Please ensure that he is seen by an outside specialist immediately!”

Part 1

I have been housed at the annex unit at new castle correctional facility since January 2024. Prior to that transfer I was scheduled to be seen by an outside specialist every 6 months. To check up on the condition of my kidneys and my prostate. After have the medical scare last year that led me being hospitalized. When my kidneys and prostate became compromised. being denied a trip to the toilet to urinate by my transport police escorting me to an outside clinic on November 4,2024 I have had to seek information and a update on why I haven’t been transported out it’s been over 6 months since my last trip. Nobody seems to know anything.

I was having a lot of pain in my lower back. That pain has since subsides. I have since developed a serious cough that releases a lot of slimy clear fluid into my mouth every time I cough.
My urine has at times a strong fishy smell that I am left to assume is due to my kidneys possibly deteriorating.

I am exercising a lot more and I am less lethargic, and more Flexable. I have stopped taken the 6 medications they have me taking because I think their cause more harm then good. My wait is back, and I look better then I did a year ago. That incident caused me to look extremely sickly.

Part 2

The fight continues to be free. While I have been enduring these conditions at New Castle annex unit. Trying to keep an edge on the medical front. I am still fighting and trying to chart my path towards my release from prison. I filed a classification appeal challenging being sent to this unit and not straight to population

On May 22, 2024, I received a response from the commissioner’s office. From Jack Hendrix, the executive director of classification. Who advised me that it was determined by the executive director William Wilson to transfer me here. Because it was appropriate based on my over all recent violations. Which I disagree with because I have 2 1/2 years conduct clear right now.

Mr. Wilson said that he wants me to participate in the transition program operating at New Castle. That program don’t exist anymore, it’s just if we stay out of trouble for a year, we are supposed to complete this ghost program.

I filed a retortion of good time on June 6, 2024. On July 1, 2024, the final reviewing authority approved for me to be given 45 days of good time back.

I am awaiting the determination of the time cut from the CPCT program that knocks time off of our current sentence. They owe me two-time cuts both of which should be 211 days a piece. Amounted to 422 more days cut from my sentence…

The asst. warden Ms. French advised me that I will be eligible for transfer to population on January 24, 2024. (Harassment keeps surfacing my way).

Today, August 14, 2024 the cert team entered the pod I live in and destroyed my cell. They pushed all my hygiene on the floor, and ripped two boxes that were damaged, open even more. I didn’t lose anything. It was done to make me get reactionary. I stayed calm and just cleaned my cell up me and my cellie.

I am attaching recent picture so that my friends and comrades can know that I am fighting to get home and maintaining my health at the same time.

Part 3:

Reconnecting to family ties and kindship.

While at Westville control unit I had a lot of problems adding new contacts to my approved phone list for at least 2 years. From February of this year till now I was experiencing the same struggle with having changes made. I was isolated for a long time from communicating with my remaining family and close friends.

This month that changed, when I submitted a request for a copy of my current phone list. When that list arrived, corrections were made adding the numbers I had been requesting for 2 1/2 years.
I have reached out to my sister and a childhood friend I have not spoken to in years. That was a great emotional feeling. I enjoyed catching up with my family.

Please be advised that I am requesting that called be made to the commissioner and governors offices and the ICLU about my medical situation. Demand to know why their medical dept. has neglected to have me taken offsite to get an update on my kidneys and prostate. That it’s been over 6 months since I was seen.

Thank you for your continued love and support.
All power to the people.
Love and light.
