The U.S. War against Korea, which killed around 5 million Koreans, ended with an armistice agreement on July 27, 1953. To this day, the U.S. has refused to sign a peace treaty to formally end the war.
To commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the start of the war and the 69th anniversary of the armistice agreement, the Party for Socialism and Liberation – Indianapolis will hold a press conference to educate the public and demand that the U.S. government formally end the Korean War by signing a peace treaty, removing all U.S. troops and military facilities from the peninsula, end the deadly economic sanctions regime against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), and to normalize relations with the DPRK.

Hear from a range of activists, organizers, and educators with first-hand connections to the Korean struggle! Learn about the deadly consequences of this ongoing war waged in our name and with our resources and, more importantly, learn what you can do to stop it!
