Thursday, June 19
6:00 – 8:00 pm
Southeast Community Services
901 Shelby St.
At this community gathering, you’ll receive critical information on how Indianapolis workers are—and can be—supporting immigrant families in crisis. Local organizers will present practical steps on how to resist raids and the latest information on rapid response networks to ensure our city remains a place of safety and dignity for all.
As the June 11 anti-ICE rally showed, the people of our city are ready to defend our immigrant neighbors against ICE raids and deportations. As fear and uncertainty grow, it’s more important than ever to come together, share knowledge, and build solidarity. Whether you’re directly impacted, an advocate, or a concerned community member, your presence matters. For those who want to get involved but haven’t yet, you’ll have opportunities to connect with local advocacy groups working on immigrant justice.
This is a meeting and an action. By standing together, we can push back against harmful policies and protect each other. No one should live in fear, and intentional collective action is our strongest weapon.
Bring your friends, family, and colleagues—let’s show Indianapolis what true community looks like. For questions email contact@pslindianapolis.org. We hope to see you there!
