Visit the Liberation Center at “Art in the Park!”

Saturday, August 5
12:00 – 4:00 pm
Taggart Memorial Amphitheatre at Riverside Park
1856 Burdsal Pkwy.

Stop by our booth Saturday at the 8th Annual Art in the Park Community Enrichment and Music Festival! The Indianapolis Liberation and several of our member groups—ANSWER Indiana, Hope Packages, and PSL Indianapolis—are excited to participate in this annual event organized by The Marion County Re-entry Coalition, Redemption Outreach Services Inc., and Community Action of Greater Indianapolis.

Come through and learn more about our Center, pick up literature and flyers for upcoming actions, build community, learn about the various ways you can get involved the struggle, and tell us about your struggle if you need support!

The event runs from 12:00-8:00 pm that day, so be sure to come see us before we leave at 4 pm!

From this year’s “Art in the Park” invitation:

“Art in the Park is a community outreach collaborative that assemble community service agencies, social service providers, employers, and community stake holders to address disparities in the community and provide the resources and support aimed to strengthen, empower, and offer lasting solutions. Art in the Park is an Annual Event which hosts a theme each year to strategically address current conditions Indiana residents are facing. Prior year themes have been to the like of Teen and Suicide Prevention, Urban Autism Awareness, and Embracing Financial Wellness for Community Enrichment. This year’s theme is “Art in the Park – Supporting Financial Health, Crime Prevention, and Re-Entry”.
