U.S. Hands off Africa! Shut down AFRICOM!
Recent developments in the Sahel region of Africa have seen U.S. and French troops expelled from their military bases as popular anti-imperialist governments come into power. As this movement in Africa grows and develops, what can we expect from the American empire, and how can we fight back from within the belly of the beast?
Discuss these questions as well as the history of anti-imperialist resistance across Africa in the 20th century at our ANSWER Indiana August monthly meeting. Collective education is essential to anti-war organizing as we enter a new era of waning U.S. dominance over the world—an era as full of dangers as it is full of opportunities.
In addition to the educational portion of our event, we will also discuss upcoming opportunities to get active as ANSWER Indiana members in the month of August.
