Support Hope Packages so we can continue to grow!
Join us to assemble winter survival kits for our homeless neighbors in Lugar Plaza. These kits will be distributed on Sunday, December 14. We need your help! We are seeking specific donations for the kits, as well as volunteers to help assemble and distribute them.
In addition to assembling these vital kits, we will discuss two points from our 10-Point Program:
- Point 6: Making Housing a Human Right
- Point 8: Expanding Public Spaces
We have continued to see the privatization of housing in our communities, with vacant homes and apartments spreading across the city. Our government prioritizes private property over public well-being, putting everyone at risk. As profit-centered housing continues to rise, our public spaces are also being compromised. We demand an expansion of community-centered spaces and housing for all!
We appreciate your generous donations, which sustain this important project. This month, we are asking for the following specific items for our winter survival kits. You can donate in two ways:
- donate to Hope Packages, and if possible, become a monthly Sustainer at whatever price you can consistently afford. The more Sustainers we have, the more reliably we can organize and distribute our packages!
- Amazon Wishlist: Purchase items directly from our Amazon wishlist, which will be shipped to the Indianapolis Liberation Center.
