Support or sustain the socialist struggle today!
From our recent battles to evict ICE from Indianapolis to directly confronting IMPD and the City-County Council debating whether to give cops $400 million to continue to terrorize our community. Workers have proven that we are ready to fight and secure justice! After months of Dalys Jett’s family attempting to get answers from IMPD Chief Tanya Terry, we showed up to where she was expected–begging the City-County Council to give IMPD hundreds of millions of dollars to continue to terrorize poor and oppressed people. The people of Naptown say “Hell no!”
We don’t need to convince our people we need a new system. The real question is: How do we get rid of oppression and racist policing?
The only way the people have overthrown their oppressors is through mass mobilizations and, ultimately, a revolution. We can’t make a revolutionary opportunity arise… What can we do? Build an organization capable of winning that revolution! We have to do that now because, if we wait, it will be too late.
The idea that the capitalists’ grip on society and their increasingly repressive state can be abolished through any means other than a revolutionary overturn is an illusion. Equally unrealistic are reformist hopes for a “kinder, gentler” capitalism, or solutions based on economic decentralization or small group autonomy.
Meeting the needs of the people and the planet today is impossible without a revolution. The Party for Socialism and Liberation is dedicated to making a revolution here, in the belly of the beast. At our next PSL Indianapolis interest session, learn more about the Party, who we are, what we believe, how to join, and how to support!
