Immigration and the election: Socialist social

A group of people sitting in a circle, talking.

Join the Party for Socialism and Liberation on Thursday to discuss the aftermath of the election and the importance of building up the socialist movement! We will be at the Tea’s Me Cafe on IU Indy’s campus, reading and discussing how Indiana’s newly appointed officials plan to attack immigrants, how we organize to keep each other safe, and how a socialist society would approach immigration.

In the current whirlwind of despair and hopelessness, we challenge the narrative that there is nothing left that we can do. The working class makes the world run—with organized efforts and a strong socialist movement, we can run the world! It’s time to step away from the corporate billionaire class and those who have funded trillions of dollars into global war, militarization, and genocide. Our work starts with connecting with our communities and class to build revolutionary consciousness!

Socialist Socials are invitations to our local community: come and connect with local PSL organizers, learn what socialism actually means, and ask questions about our vision—and more importantly, plans—for the future. If you like what you hear you can always ask a member about how to join!
