Our city officials don’t prioritize keeping the neighborhoods of working class people clean, so it’s time to take matters into the hands of the community. Rise and shine and meet us outside to clean up litter, clear drain blockages, and refresh the block that we work and live in! A healthy and clean neighborhood is what we deserve, and that’s why its up to us to keep it that way.
Join teachers and volunteers from Global Prep Academy and dedicated members of your Indianapolis Liberation Center as we show the city the power of the collective. In partnership with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful we have adopted the block surrounding the Center and made a commitment to keeping it clean.
Arrive to the center at 9:00 am where we will do a quick orientation on where we will be cleaning trash from and handing out supplies. We will then meet everyone downstairs and split up to pick up!
