The Indianapolis Art Center is hosting a discussion on art and transformative justice featuring panelists from across the country. The event is in conjunction with Prison Reimagined: Presidential Portraits and On the Count, two exhibitions on display through October 5. The participatory panel discussion features:
- Abraham J. Bonowitz, Cofounder and Executive Director of Death Penalty Action
- Caddell Kivett, Curator and Artistic Director of Prison Reimagined: Presidential Portraits
- Derek Ford, Co-Founder of the Indianapolis Liberation Center and Bard Member of the Shaka Shakur Freedom Campaign
- Gina Lee Robbins, featured artist, On the Count
