Join us for this month’s Liberation Forum, where we’ll be discussing the conflict in Ukraine, its historical origins, new developments, and reports from the ground.

For the past eight years, the Ukrainian government has committed various war crimes against the population in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine, including the use of internationally-banned weapons such as white phosphorus munitions on civilian targets. In response, the leadership of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics requested military aid from the Russian Federation to secure their borders and repel Ukrainian military assets from the region.

However, the mission of the Russian military has since expanded, thus giving NATO the opportunity to commit to the first casualty of any war: the truth. Over the past two months, Russian people in the West have been attacked, their homes, community centers, and businesses vandalized, and any nuance granted to the conflict is demonized.

It is through the tireless work of comrades both at home and abroad that we can provide this thorough analysis of what is possibly the worst-reported war in decades, a war which may have dire consequences for working people worldwide. #DisbandNATO #StandWithDonbass
