Indy: Stop the war on Iran rally and protest

The Trump administration, along with Israel, launched an unprovoked, illegal war on Iran. Immediately, people hit the streets to express the majority sentiment in this country: we reject another endless war for regime change! Continue this anti-war outpouring this Saturday as part of a coordinated day of action.

This conflict has the potential to quickly expand into a devastating regional war, which will bring unthinkable death and destruction. Already, other countries in the region have been drawn into the war. Trump is lying when he says that Iran poses any kind of threat to the United States. And he has made it clear that he is willing to sacrifice the lives of U.S. service members in this regime change war, along with an unlimited number of Iranians and others in the region.

Initial co-sponsors of this day of protest include: ANSWER Coalition, The People’s Forum, National Iranian-American Council, Democratic Socialists of America, Palestinian Youth Movement, American Muslims for Palestine, Black Alliance for Peace, CODEPINK, Center on Conscience and War, About Face.

But a mass anti-war movement can put an end to this destruction! This Saturday, dozens took to the streets of Indy immediately to show the people of Iran our government doesn’t act in our name. Take to the streets on Saturday, March 7, to demand: Stop the war on Iran now!
