Rally: Unite our struggles to kick ICE out of Indiana!

On Saturday, we will assemble at the Indiana Statehouse to not only defend our community against the right-wing billionaire agenda, but take the fight directly to them! As we build our opposition to Mike Braun’s racist and xenophobic executive order targeting immigrant workers, we united struggles for Black liberation, women’s liberation, and LGBTQ liberation, and more into one fighting force! Our struggles divided cannot survive this onslaught of attacks–it will take a unified front to build our working class power! The working people reject Braun’s unjust orders against immigrant Hoosiers and we have a demand of our own: ICE OUT OF INDIANA!

In his first few weeks in office, Governor Braun unleashed a flurry of attacks against working poor and oppressed people. To “trim the state’s spending” by $700 million, Braun is choosing to maliciously target immigrants and DEI. He pulled the funding for Martin University, Indiana’s own primarily Black higher education institution. As he demonstrated, he plans to cut more programs that benefit working people, and further enrich his wealthy cronies.

From rising food prices to low wages, any attempt to divide the working class amongst ourselves will not work. Our class, the workers, are smart, resilient, and capable to combat this dramatic rightward shift of the billionaire class. Through cooperation, collaboration, and a strong fight-back, we can remove the billionaires from power entirely and end the terror on immigrants, marginalized communities, and workers at large.

We will see you in the streets!
