Unfortunately, our elected officials can but refuse to do anything but give lip service to support our homeless and housing insecure neighbors. They won’t even provide enough resources so that our fellow residents can have the basic necessities to make it through the day.
We don’t have the resources of the state, but we have more love for our community than they ever will. Our ultimate goal is to bridge that mismatch by making sure the people are in control of the state. On our way there, however, we must help each other make it through the day.
