The Hispanic Cultural Hub presents its first group show at the Fonseca-Du Bois Gallery. This exhibition will feature a range of local artists highlighting the vibrant arts of the Hispanic diaspora. Prepare to be inspired by artists whose creative expressions flow directly from their culture and heart.
One of our featured artists, Gabriela Mojica, is a self-taught artist originally from Mexico and a resident of Indianapolis for the past 18 years. With over 30 years of painting experience, her work has been displayed at venues like the Indiana Latino Expo. Deeply inspired by her traditions, Gabriela finds freedom and joy in expressing herself through color and texture. Her work conveys a love and respect for Latin culture while inviting viewers to find their own meaning. For Gabriela, art is the freedom to express her heart and share it with the world. Each creation leaves a piece of her essence, memories, and roots, hoping to inspire future generations to stay connected to their heritage.
Dina Godoy, better known as La China is originally from Tijuana and grew up in California. Godoy said why she is interested in art, “Since I was a child, I’ve loved art and creating things. I love Aztec culture and being free in my art, letting my thoughts soar with color! I consider myself a Medium Artist—a little bit of everything.”
Miriam Luna is a visual artist born in Mexico and raised in California. The founder of Luna’s Art & Face Painting, she is known for her bold use of color and expressive, symbolic figures. Her work explores themes of love, faith, identity, and inner strength, inviting viewers to connect with emotion, healing, and beauty rooted in personal growth and spirituality. Miriam’s art has been featured in galleries and community spaces, and she shares her passion through original artwork, face painting, and art kits.
Miriam’s art kits will be available for purchase at the Indy Liberation Center Store starting opening night!
