Monday, June 21 is International Go Skate Day. First established as an unofficial holiday in 2004, Go Skate Day is now recognized with official activities in countries around the world, from South Africa, Cuba, and Russia to Turkey, China, and the U.S.–including right here in Indianapolis! It’s a celebration of the creativity and community of skateboarding.

This year, Hope Packages is honored to partner with QSkatepark just a few miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis for #GoSkateForHope.

True to their mission to create “an inclusive” park “to ALL that want to skate,” the generous shredders at QSkatepark are reducing their entrance fee to $5 and donating 100 percent of the proceeds to Hope Packages!

The event is not only for skaters, however. Not only can you enjoy some sick moves, but we’ll also be grilling food, building community, and promoting the importance of mutual aid, solidarity, and unity.

#GoSkateForHope goes from 6:00 – 10:00 pm on Monday, June 21 at Q, which is located at 1727 Stout Field E. Dr.
