They used force to remove us from their halls of power. They told us to pursue litigation to get the rest of the body camera footage. It’s clear we can’t operate on their terrain and must create our own.
Help us take that next step in the fight for Dalys Jett at The People’s Assembly at P30 event space, organized by the Jett Family and their Spokesperson, organizer and Pastor Davanta R Scruggs, the Black Briefing, and PSL Indianapolis.
We’ll have presentations and discussions as well as music and cultural expressions of community, commitment, and solidarity. While the word “solidarity” is used often, we take it very seriously. Solidarity carries with it serious duties and responsibilities. In his Message to the Tricontinental, titled “One, two… many Vietnams,” delivered at the 1967 meeting of Organization of the Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia, and Latin America in Havana, Che Guevara wrote that genuine solidarity with the Vietnamese patriots “should not be a matter of wishing the victim success, but of sharing his very fate, accompanying him to death or victory.”
Join the Jett family, PSL Indianapolis, and The Black Briefing for our first People’s Assembly: Justice for Dalys Jett. Come hear from our family and help organize what comes next. In addition, please help support legal and organizing costs in the struggle by giving whatever you can here or immediately below.
