Once again, the highly-anticipated Día de Muertos celebration is back in person at the Eiteljorg on Saturday, Oct. 25! Enjoy free admission during a day of celebration with performances, art-making, Art Mercado vendors, community groups, an art exhibition by artist Jonathan Vazquez, and a community-curated altar display.
Experience Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead at the Eiteljorg Museum, in collaboration with Arte Mexicano en Indiana and Nopal Cultural. Immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of this beloved Mexican holiday as you explore its rich history and cultural significance.
Enjoy mesmerizing performances, meet talented artists, and witness captivating demonstrations that bring this celebration to life. Plus, don’t miss the Día de Muertos Community Art and Altar Exhibit, a stunning and meaningful display where the community honors loved ones through intricate ofrendas (offerings).
Get hands-on and create your own art, inspired by the traditions and stories behind this cultural celebration.
