On June 15, while hanging out downtown, Devin Hunt got into a verbal argument with a friend. There was no physical violence… until the IMPD showed up. While there is no law against verbally disagreeing with someone in public to our knowledge, that didn’t stop the cops from violently assaulting Devin Hunt. The abundance of footage capturing the evidence didn’t prevent the cops who assaulted Hunt from lying about everything that ensued.
On June 27, Hunt, together with his family and supporters, held a press conference at the Indianapolis Liberation Center. At the press conference, organizers with PSL Indianapolis shared footage debunking the police’s lies. Kody Fisher reported that WISH-TV saw “a new angle that I-Team hasn’t reported before. You can see an officer punching Hunt in the side three times as other officers have control of him on the ground.”
