Circle City Sangha is a group of mindfulness practitioners in the Plum Village tradition of Buddhism. The Plum Village tradition was founded by Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh during the Vietnam War as a response to violence, colonialism, and oppression. Plum Village practices Engaged Buddhism in an effort to encourage practitioners to apply Buddhist ethics to our communities and the world around us.
Circle City Sangha was founded in October 2021.
We are committed to the liberation of all beings, and our practice is in pursuit of that liberation. We spend time together weekly enjoying sitting meditation, reading the dharma, and sharing our joys and difficulties with each other.
Starting February 1, 2025, we will meet every Saturday between 9:30 – 11:00 am at the Indianapolis Liberation Center. All are encouraged to attend regardless of prior experience, knowledge, or faith.
