Sustain the struggle for socialism in Indiana!
As Pride 2026 comes to an end, the 250th anniversary of the formation of the United States looms. But workers and oppressed people are not rallying around the flag and singing “God Bless the USA.” What is there to be proud of in America—the imperial exploitation and violence of the country’s ruling class, or the steadfast resistance of its working and oppressed peoples?
In the midst of it all, the capitalist class continues its war on the basic democratic rights we are told are the foundation of the American project. Lenin explained how the oppressors convert revolutionaries into “harmless icons” in sanitized celebrations in an effort to dupe the oppressed. How are modern celebrations of the victories we have won in the struggle used to trick us?
Come out to Indianapolis’ liberated space on Wednesday, July 1 at 6 pm to hear how you can become active in the struggle for building a better world where working and oppressed people hold political power, living free from violence and exploitation.
If you’re ready to start struggling with us, apply to join the Party for Socialism and Liberation or learn more about the PSL and the Indianapolis branch!
