April mindfulness meetups: Ripening wisdom and compassion

Saturday, April 4
9:30 – 11:00 am
Indianapolis Liberation Center

Make a donation of any amount to keep our city’s liberated space going and growing!

All are welcome to join Circle City Sangha for our regular mindfulness meetups at our home in the Indianapolis Liberation Center.

Our regular program includes:

  • Welcoming and introductions
  • Guided meditation
  • Group reading of dharma writings or Five Mindfulness Trainings
  • Dharma sharing (sharing from the heart)
  • Close

These gatherings are always free to attend, but if you wish to make a donation to the Indianapolis Liberation Center, please speak with the facilitator or do so here.

Newcomers are welcome. No previous experience with meditation required, and you don’t need to be a Buddhist or profess any sort of faith!

We will have meditation cushions and chairs set up for you to use as you prefer. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes, easy-to-remove shoes, and bring water to drink if you like. Circle City Sangha is a group of mindfulness practitioners in the Plum Village tradition of Buddhism. The Plum Village tradition was founded by Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh during the Vietnam War as a response to violence, colonialism, and oppression. Plum Village practices Engaged Buddhism in an effort to encourage practitioners to apply Buddhist ethics to our communities and the world around us.

We look forward to spending time together. If you have any questions, you can contact us using the form below:
